時事雜記

it's been a while, that i've been avoiding to read newspaper, ever since i first laid my eyes on the pictures, of Myanmar, then 四川...

received a mail, a compiled pictures taken for the earthquake. so again, i see it. young, old, male, female, dead, alive, struggling, given up hope... it's so heartbroken to see it all.

i care. i pity. i feel sorry... but there's nothing else i can do, other than donating to the country. (and yeah, whether they will get it...?)

they said the storm's gonna hit here, too.

fuel price has increased another 78cent. suddenly the traffic was so bad. many people has came out to top up their tank to save the approx 30% increase, for ONE LAST time. (i bet that the queue at the petrol station is still the same at this hour out there).

大米price has increased, like 100% now. we used to pay RM17, and now with the same money we can get only half of the weight. you have the dollars does not mean you will get it in Philippines. it's a scarcity now. what are the things that the price remained?

what will happen when food is not enough, money is not enough to spend, deceases are unbeatable, the life has become so fragile.

is this where we're heading? are the scenes in "i am legend" not too far from us now? is it too soon to start to worry? will it be too late for us to make the change?
